  • Survey time because I'm bored. I filled this out on MySpace last night but decided to post it on here because I have nothing else to write. I edited some of them, though.

  • I went on a church retreat this weekend and had an absolutely amazing time! I couldn't have ask for a better weekend. It was so much fun and the location was perfect.

I have tons of pictures, as usual.

    First night (Friday)

Linda, Stephen, Brian L., me, and Brian G at the bonfire.

    Saturday

Greg and Brian L. in an intense game of lifesaver tag... or something like that.

    Brian won.

Tower contest. This is my group's beautiful three-foot tower.

The "A" group: KellyAnn, Stephen, me, and Laurie. We came in second place.

Kara, Amy, Kaitlyn, and Greg's tower.

Me, Kara, Caralyn, and Jackie by the lake.

    The girls, exhausted.

Brian G., singing "The Circle of Life" at dinner.

    Sunday

Drew, being lifted up at breakfast.

This is what the camp staff do to you on your birthday. Haha..

Brian L., doing his "I Will Survive" performance. It was awesome.

All the Juniors and Seniors [present on the retreat].

    The Juniors.

    The Seniors.

The Seniors looking out at the lake. We're so cheesy. LOL.

My small group for the whole weekend, Alyshia and Lauren.

The Senior girls, taken right before we left.

    I love this place.

"Herbie" short for Herbert. Our favorite duck from last year's Jr./Sr. retreat made his presence known.

They used my t-shirt design for the retreat.

I will post a few more pictures sometime in the future. I have pictures of me going on the ropes course on Kara's camera. I climbed up a twelve-foot ladder and jumped on to a trapeze. I'm not going to lie, it was terrifying.

    <edit>

I just found out my mom went to the emergency room on Friday night because she couldn't breathe. I love how I find out three days after it happened. I don't think they know what's wrong yet but they ran a few tests on her. I hope to God it's nothing serious.

  • I'm about to seriously give up on Armstrong. They're taking wayyy too long to respond. Gahh.

After today's college visit to Valdosta, I've decided that Valdosta is now my second choice and West Georgia is now my third. Yeahh, I just switched them. I really, really like Valdosta. The campus is gorgeous and the Communication Disorders program (my major) there is really good. It seems like they actually know what they're doing.

I've filled up my housing applications for Valdosta and I'm mailing them tomorrow. I'm not going to wait for AASU's response before mailing them because they're first come, first serve. If and when I do get accepted to AASU, I will just cancel my contract with Valdosta.

    Junior/Senior retreat tomorrow! I cannot wait. I still haven't packed. =/

  • I don't think I'm going to survive this week.

I have to finish two projects by the end of this week: A man-made working Digestive System and a bulletin board in the Business hall.

That means I'll be staying after school for the next two days.

Thank God, I get somewhat of a break on Thursday, the most exhausting day. I'm going to visit Valdosta State University. I'm not really interested in the school but the parents want to check it out. As long as I'm excused for not being at school, I'm totally cool with it. If it wasn't for the college visit, I would be staying after school three days in a row because I have NAHS meeting every Thursday.

I have to rush home on Friday because I have a church retreat and were aiming to leave around three. Keyword: aiming. I doubt we'll leave around that time but we might surprise ourselves. I'm really excited. It's going to be so much fun. We're going back to the place where I got a rope burn on my neck a few months ago. Haha. I haven't gone back there since that happened. My mom's not very excited. She almost didn't sign the 'release form' to allow me to participate in the activities. Psh. I'm not going to sit on the side and watch everybody else have fun on the ropes course. I'll just wrap my whole body so I won't get another rope burn. Especially on my neck. LOL.

I just wish I wasn't sick... then maybe I wouldn't be so irritated. The whole coughing, sniffing, waking up in the middle night choking, and just breathing in one nose is SO not working for me. Hmp.

    But I'll deal.

Ohh. Our next softball game is a month from now. I'm sure going to miss it. It's so much fun. We lost our game yesterday but my team tried their best and still had a blast.
